As many of you have figured out by now, I have not been updating this site as much as I would like. That is going to change.

I have to admit, this year has kicked my ass. My wife and I have moved back in with her parents, she lost her job for a little bit, I got so depressed I considered getting hospitalized; Life has been fucking rough to put it mildly.

BUT, that is not going to keep me down. I am coming out of this stronger than ever and I will not be defeated by this stupid year. This is my state of the site address.

1. I will be updating this website more often. I am starting to travel and write again and I cannot wait to share with you all what I have been up to. I have a couple trips from last year to the midwest that I am excited to post about and most importantly a return to my roots; I went on a backpacking trip LAST WEEK! I will have the post of that coming up very soon.
2. I have started a podcast! I am currently doing a podcast with two of my buddies called “Meals For Mindflayers.” It is a podcast about all things Dungeons and Dragons. We stream on twitch on Wednesdays @7pm pacific. You can find the channel here: https://www.twitch.tv/sdsocrates
3. I am playing Dungeons and Dragons live, streaming on Twitch, on the same channel. It is a really fun stream run by SDSocrates, who is putting us through the Hoard of the Dragon Queen campaign for 5th edition. We usually stream on Tuesdays @7pm pacific. 4. I am writing a new novel! I have a fantasy novel that I am still editing but I have started working on a magical realism/sci fi novel that I am very proud of. I will keep you all updated on the progress of my story and maybe I will share some excerpts from it.

Anyway, long story short, I am sorry for disappearing and I will be making it up to my followers with some great content. Come see me play/talk about D&D on my buddies twitch channel and stay tuned for some awesome content and thanks for following and not giving up on me. I AM STILL HERE!
