Novice to Novel: Camp NaNoWriMo – Week 3

Oh boy. This challenge is not looking good. Not looking good at all.

Uh oh

But you know what? I have got 13,176 words done this month that I can guarantee you would not have happened otherwise. So NaNoWriMo is still a success regardless. I have a new ending to my book and a much more cohesive descent into madness that the book was sorely lacking; which I can only assume that my real descent into madness while trying to complete this challenge helped to bring to life.

I am excited to finish it and I am now shooting for the end of May. As school and work continue to kick my ass I feel like the extra time is warranted. But, things are looking up and I have not fully given up on finishing this insane challenge that is Camp NaNoWriMo.

Camp NaNoWriMo. It sounds so unassuming and cute. Just come to writing camp, it will be so much fun, you can work on your novel and slowly be driven mad and put yourself under a self-imposed cage filled with stress and omnipresent doubt. Such Fun!

Camp NaNoWriMo! You have not yet defeated me! As long as I have breath in my lungs and time left on the clock in April, I will come at you full force (unless a really good game comes out or I have a bad mental health day at work, or I am just feeling lazy).

Three thousand words a day ain’t nothing!

I will see you all near the finish line next week. Hopefully, I can finish off strong. As always, thank you so much for reading and I can’t wait to continue on this journey to getting a novel published.
